‼️‼️‼️
Palestine isn’t going anywhere and neither are we

We stand in solidarity with all those protesting genocide and ethnic cleansing.

The invasion of Rafah last night, the so-called “safe zone”, has shown that every red line Germany and the Zionist allies in the West claim to draw is nothing but smoke and mirrors. Nothing has stopped the Zionist state from continuing its genocide in Gaza and nothing has yet swayed the West to stop enabling it.

This morning, students started an encampment at “Free” University Berlin, joining the global student movement. Within the blink of an eye, the university administration called the police on protesters. In December, when students occupied a lecture hall at “Free” University, the administration still needed to be pressured by the Berlin Senate to call the police on its own students. Today, apparently, this isn’t necessary anymore.

The police used brute force against protesters and pepper-sprayed a group of supporters inside the university building. The cafeteria was shut down, as was internet for the entire building – another attempt to silence voices against genocide.

There are reports that members of the press were forced out, infringing on freedom of press. This is especially infuriating because the police forced us to accommodate right-wing “journalists” known for harassing protesters at our encampment at Bundestag.

Within five hours, the encampment was removed and the over 150 participants were forcibly evicted. We salute those who stood up against German complicity in genocide, and urge everyone to join their ranks.

We reiterate our demands, in line with the students’ encampment demands:

  • An immediate end to all German weapons exports to the Zionist state; as well as all financial and diplomatic aid
  • An immediate, permanent, and unconditional ceasefire
  • An end to the criminalization of the Palestinian solidarity movement

Only we, the people, can stop these horrors. Escalate for Gaza.

Strike, Boycott, Occupy. If they evict one camp, we will build three more: until Palestine is free.

Occupy Against Occupation

Join our protest camp in solidarity with Palestine ⛺️❗️April 8 – …
In front of German parliament📍Berlin

Who are we?

We are a coalition of people – German citizens, permanent residents, asylum seekers, internationals, and others currently situated in Germany. Everyone who agrees with our vision is welcome, regardless of ethnicity, religion, disabilities, sexual orientation and gender.

As Germany faces mounting pressure before the ICJ, protests outside the parliament in Berlin are joining demands to end the German state’s complicity in Israel’s genocide against Palestine.Germany has arguably been Israel’s most uncritical ally, devoting itself to backing the occupying state no matter what.

Nicaragua repeatedly emphasized the contradiction between Germany’s admissions of possible international lawbreaking in Gaza while record arms exports to Israel continue.

In 2023, Germany delivered 47% of the conventional weapons imported by Israel, making it the second-largest arms supplier to Israel, behind the US.

At the same time, Germany slashed its payments to UNRWA, depriving Gaza’s main aid organization of its second-largest donor. Nicaragua’s legal team pointed to Article 3 under the UN’s Genocide Convention, which outlines „complicity in genocide“ as a punishable act!

Working Groups

At the protest camp, there are several working groups:

  • Infostand: the first contact and the place to ask for communication.
  • Social media: these are the digital contacts that make the camp known to those who are not there.
  • Programming: there are a thousand initiatives and rallies, so coordination is needed and this is their task.
  • Infrastructures, Tech, Trash and Food: they are keeping the camp alive and functional.
  • Ordner, Awareness and Security: they are taking care of the camp’s security, contacts with the police and that everyone feels safe.

We always need volunteers and people who want to organise! The protest camp is a beautiful place where people from various backgrounds and religions work together to achieve justice.

Everyone who wants to fight for a better world is welcome!
